RECOVERY: The Process Of Regaining Possession Or Control Of Something That Was Once Lost!

The WORX! is comprised of Recovery Support Worx Co. (RSW) and WillSTAN Housing. We are an affiliate of Trans YOUniting and partnered with several other community resources including The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (OVR) and the Allegheny County Housing Authority.  We are a community-based program that offers Certified Recovery Specialist Training, peer/recovery support services, drug and alcohol level of care assessments, case management, resource coordination, LGBTQ+ capital, forensic support, housing assistance, health/wellness and workforce development.  The Worx! is geared towards empowering individuals and families while they safely transition and address needs.

RSW delivers Certified Peer and Recovery Support Service (CPS/CRS), Drug and Alcohol Level of Care Assessments, Case Management and Resource Coordination. Our program is available to any individuals residing in Allegheny County, 18 years of age or older with a past or present opiate use disorder (OUD)/substance use disorder (SUD), mental health (MH) diagnosis or co-occurring disorder.  We offer in person, telehealth/video, one on one sessions, and educational peer group workshops.  (CPS/CRS) are trained licensed professionals who are tangible examples of persons with lived experiences (past or present) of SUD and/or MH. Some CPS/CRS have previous criminal justice involvement and offer practical context and insight.

WillSTAN Housing (The Will to Safely, Transition & Address Needs) offers quality affordable apartments/houses with both permanent and transitional leasing options.  FREE-Covery Short-term Supportive Housing is available for up to 90 days to eligible individuals awaiting a bed at a DDAP Licensed Recovery House and/or permanent housing options. Participants must transition from INPATIENT TREATMENT to be eligible. Participants accepted into the FREE-Covery Transitional Supportive Housing are required to meet with their CRS/CPS for a minimum of one hour a day, attend mandatory peer groups/ meetings, and partake in weekly one-hour sessions with their Case Manager for case consultation and resource coordination.
